This bar is normally used with your standard foot shank, there is a hold or spring slot in the rear of the shank which this slides/pushes into, also can be used in the janome walking foot range
This guide bar is especially useful for stitching straight lines when quilting, sewing evenly spaced, parallel rows of stitching.
Use the straight stitch or decorative stitch of your choice for wonderful quilted effects.
