Hello Sewing Fans! 

A warm welcome from Couling Sewing Machines. We are a family run business having over 50 years in the Sewing Machine Trade. We sell home sewing machines and associated products as well as operating a servicing and repair centre.

In 1982 we opened our current shop and repair centre on Lincoln’s High Street. We have grown steadily since and in 2005 we started online retailing to serve the global sewing community. So far we have managed over 180,000 online sales! Continued growth means that today we have a team of 7 staff members who look forward to helping you with your sewing needs.

OUR SHOP

At our Lincoln shop we sell a wide range of products. We have over 70 new domestic machines on display from a variety of manufactures. We pride ourselves on always stocking the following items; home domestic Sewing Machines, Embroidery Machines, Overlockers, Felting Machines, Horn Cabinets, Ironing Presses, Machine Software and Sewing Lamps. We also carry an extensive range of spare parts and accessories catering for all the leading brand names.

Our staff are trained to provide technical insight and demonstrations on all our domestic sewing machines. We will support you in choosing the most suitable machine for your sewing needs. We invite you to pop into our shop, have a play with the machines and test them out to ensure it’s the right machine for you.

As a small family business we strive to provide the highest level of customer service. As such, for customers who buy machines from our shop we provide free in store training. Following a machine purchase we offer free lessons to help ensure our customers are able to use their machine to their full potential.

We regularly attend new product launches to maintain our industry leading knowledge base and ability to supply the latest state of the art sewing machines. In addition, we maintain close contact and good relationships with suppliers and wholesalers to allow us to provide competitive pricing and fast sourcing of unique items for our customers.
