Suitable for use with all makes of embroidery machines, this versatile water soluble stabiliser helps achieve neat, professional embroidery results on a wide range of fabrics and projects.
Certain fabrics require extra care when embroidering, particularly those with a raised pile or textured surface. Towelling, velvet, Draylon, knitwear and fleece can cause stitches to sink into the fabric, affecting the appearance of your design.
This water soluble stabiliser helps prevent this by keeping the fabric pile down, allowing your embroidery stitches to sit neatly on top for a clearer, more defined finish.

How to Use
As a Topper
Place a layer of stabiliser over the top of your fabric before embroidering. This is particularly useful for towels, fleece and other pile fabrics, helping to prevent your design from sinking into the material and ensuring a professional finish.
As an Underneath Stabiliser
Position the stabiliser underneath the fabric or design area to be stitched. Secure it in place using an embroidery hoop, pins or temporary adhesive.
For Tracing and Design Transfer
Use the stabiliser to trace or transfer your embroidery design onto the Solvy before stitching.
Removing the Stabiliser
Once embroidery is complete, gently tear away any excess stabiliser. Any remaining residue can be removed by dabbing with cold water, allowing the stabiliser to dissolve.
