Great Machine!
It's still early days, but diligently I've been through the instruction book and tested every single function, stitch and foot available. A whole world of possibilities has opened up magically before me! I tried the darning function on a difficult shaped rip in my husband's heavyweight denim jeans with the standard needle as a test. It just ate up the work, did not mind the heavy fabric and closed the tear so neatly it was almost invisible once he put them back on! This is going to be a great machine - I mean it already is a great machine, and as I get more used to it I know I will get more out of it. Only downside (hence 4 stars) was that the automatic needle threader broke fairly early on, called Couling to find it's a common problem. A big relief! They were super-helpful and can ship the required spare parts for less than £10. Highly recommend this machine. What's not to love?
