This small part can be used on Selected Janome overlock models to allow overlocking with only two threads.
It simply pushes on to the top looper as shown in your user manual, if your book does not show this spreader listed then it probably will not fit your machine
Use it for specialist two thread overlocking while using only one needle and the lower looper
