JANOME HD9 1600p Even feed Walking Foot - 767403016
The Even Feed Foot, sometimes referred to as the walking foot, is designed with a set of feed dogs which allow the fabric to feed without shirting and eliminates the problem of the under layer of fabric coming up short. The even feed foot is also great for topstitching, which can be spoilt due to irregularity of stitching. This is often caused by the bulk created with the seam allowance especially around collars and reveres. using the walking foot for topstitching will eliminate this problem and give perfect stitching every time.

Superb addition
I just received this foot to complete my leather work projects on my HD9 and it's superb. It gives excellent control and maneuverability over multi layers of fabric. This should come as standard with the sewing machine!

Walking foot
I make bags and suchlike, and bought a Janome HD9 last year. I have been putting the machine through its paces during the lockdown, and bought many accessories from Coulings, including a teflon foot, as this was recommended by many users on the Janome HD9 FB group, particularly if one uses leather, faux leather etc. However I wasn't too impressed by the teflon foot, and took a gamble and bought the walking foot in the hope it would be a better bet. I wish I had bought it in the first place, it works like a dream, and is particularly good when turning tricky corners on bag seams, and combined with the power of the HD9 I now feel I have the dream team, and can work with utter confidence when making the trickier bags. Thank you Janome for a great machine, and thank you Coulings for, as ever, great advice.
