The shank quick-release button allows quick and easy foot changes. Thanks to its use with your sewing machine you will be able to easily change the presser feet, thus ensuring greater comfort and precision of sewing.
Clicking the foot on the shank requires only placing the foot under the handle and lowering the foot attachment lever ("lowering the foot"). The foot will click into place automatically. To release the presser foot, simply press the lever on the back of the shank and the presser foot is unlocked. It is worth using the original Janome shanks to make sure the foot slot lines up correctly with the needle plate slot also in addition to mounting standard feet, it allows the installation of feet that require locking at two points, e.g. foot for application or sewing buttons

Janome Foot Holder Cat C
Good quality and does the job perfectly. When I swap my Cat D (9mm) presser foot holder with this one, I'm able to use all my Cat C (7mm) presser feet. Perfect!
