The foot can be set to sew on each side of the zipper. The edge of the foot guides the zipper to ensure straight placement.
The AcuFeed mechanism is great for zippers in thin or stretchy fabrics; it feeds all the layers through evenly for a polished look.

    Just what I needed to do narrow seams .and top stitching, regular acfeed foot that came with my machine was rather wide for , also bought the zip foot to go with it.

    I used this foot today to attach a zip to vinyl to make a zipper pouch. It fed through the vinyl and zip perfectly. It will also be a handy foot to use for edge/topstitching.
